Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek

Chk-in was easy for a Friday night. We had two rooms on the 9th floor. The rooms had a problem with tub water drainage, called front desk and within 10 mins the maintenance guy was there. Fixed drainage within 10mins. Great location. Ample underground paid parking for 29/day. Rooms are spacious and comfy. A/C gets cold. Bed has a soft feel. The multiple pillows are soft in feel. If you can get this hotel for a comparable price of hotels nearby it would not be a bad choice.

Clean and Staff working well with is. The Booking did not show up so she booked and helped me cancel.

No laundry facilities. No pool. When I booked i though there was those.

The bathroom cleanliness was disgusting abd unacceptable. And management never responded to our requests to change rooms or have this room cleaned cited properly. We were in town for a conference and it was a busy weekend but for a Marriott property to allow a guest to check into A room with a bathroom this disgusting is a new low for Marriott

Charged me for parking and for internet?!? Crazy. Also, booked an executive room for more money hoping for some kind of upgrade in facilities; don’t bother. Same room just on an upper level. Pretty disappointed if I’m being honest. Also it lacked the amenities it claimed to have

We were there for the weekend and had a great visit. That said, we were out of the hotel most of the night and returned late evening most days. So my review will be based on what we experienced in that context. Pros: - First and foremost, amazingly courteous and helpful staff all around. - Very comfortable rooms. Good size and space, and the beds were very comfortable. -Spacious bathrooms. - Great location, within walking distance of several key locations. Cons I didn't see too many cons for the purpose of our trip. On one of the days there was a lot of noise at night but that was more a function of guests and kids running around in the corridor (or talking loudly).

Lovely room ready for us early, all staff from valet, check-in, house keeping were very friendly and helpful. Only name I got was Stan from security when he personally went to find my left behind ipad and put in mail. Thank you!! Another great stay with Marriott. The hotel was filled with soccer families and handled very well. You could not have a better location in downtown, a great mall and food court is steps away.
