"Good location, poor room design, expensive food, intermittent WiFi."

Good location in Central San Jose.

Room was small. Didn't like the bathroom being integrated into the bedroom - lacks privacy and comfort. The Wi-Fi only works intermittently. The restaurant evening meal was expensive for what it was.

It’s a very nicely appointed hotel. We’ve stayed here once before. Enjoy getting out and walking around the bustling city center.

Not sure that it’s worth the cost.

We look forward to coming to San Jose every few months and staying at the Gran Hotel. You always feel special being greeted by Luiz and his staff. Centrally located, it is a joy to walk and experience San Jose. The breakfast is wonderful and staff very helpful, especially Oscar! Looking forward to a return later in the year!
