Breakfast was very expensive. Most of the food was cold.

Way overpriced. Not even a free coffee downstairs in the mornings. I asked for an extra coffee for the pot in the room and was treated like I asked for the moon!

The staff were kind and friendly, but the property itself is showing it's age in places. If you are partial to a more old school feel to decor, this is the place. The neighborhood is quiet more business downtown than things to do downtown. Gift shop closes at 4PM on the property which is inconvenient but does open at 5.30A which is great. Nothing wrong with the property but nothing stood out.

"1980 called and it wants its hotel back!"

We stayed while driving from South Carolina to Maine. The hotel staff are great and the room was clean. However, this hotel is screaming that it needs an update. When you walk in you are hit immediately with the feeling you have stepped back to 1980 and may actually see Al Pacino from Scarface walking by.
