Richmond Marriott

We booked into this hotel for a full week thinking that a 4 star hotel with a restaurant would be able to satisfy our needs. This means a decent night sleep and a place for a meal after doing business all day. Imagine our surprise when after a full day of work coming back and going to the restaurant for a quick decent meal only to be told that if you don’t have a reservation you won’t be able to be served. There were at least half the tables unoccupied but they said they were for people with reservations later on. We went to management and expressed our surprise and discontent with the situation. We said that we would have expected that a few tables would be set aside for hotels guests. They apparently hadn’t thought of that and said they will look at it for the future. Totally useless. Need to rethink the rest of our week. Can’t go with food for 7 days Don’t stay here if you get hungry.

Cleanness, professionalism of staff, and good environment to get rest.

Parking wasn’t the best, but made it work.

The staff and the lobby was nice.

The room bathroom needed updated the tub was chipping and the seal was coming up. The sink keep stopping up.

The location was perfect.

Valet took an excessive amount of time when there was no one else waiting. It took 35 minutes to get my car.
