Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark

I have stayed here on multiple occasions. The room this time was disappointing. The shower made the smoke detector chirp each time, the bathroom had zero ventilation. The ceiling was peeling or large portions were missing from the ceiling. The bedding had holes it in. It just seemed outdated/unkempt.

We have stayed there 2 times and fixing to be a 3rd. The elevator situation is the worst. Have to stand in line every time to go to our room.

Room was nice and the views were great

The location, the elevator staff and door staff were very nice. Beds were comfortable.

The bathroom was dirty in all 3 rooms, there was brown goo dripping down the wall in my room, the sheets and bed cover in my daughter's room were ripped, staff at the front desk and the bar were rude, the pool was closed everytime we went in there (my granddaughter who ran in the 5k wanted to swim), the ceiling was falling in the bathroom, and everytime someone took a shower the smoke alarms went off the entire time the shower was running. There was no TV guide. Also no explained how parking validation worked and we didn't know it was free until we had already paid $120 for parking.

We did not stay in the hotel but ate at the restaurant. Service was extremely slow and the food came out lukewarm warm and in shifts. We only had 6 people and was charged a large group 20% gratuity. i own a restaurant and do not like unadvertised gratuities especially when the service and food were far below good.

My first time in St Louis was so refreshing. Arriving very early than check-in time, I was greeted by Riquel, who embraced me with warmth and kindness. Riquel navigated through the system and ensured me that I was abled to get checked in as soon as a room was cleaned and ready for the next guest stay. I started my day so early, that she asked if I had breakfast and catching a 6AM flight left little room for taking care of myself. Enjoying my first meal of the day really gave me the full guest experience. Thank you to the St. Louis Hilton Guest Team. I can't wait for the next company conference to visit a city that felt like home.
