JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort

My wife stayed at the JW recently with her sister and our daughter. They ran into some not-so-great customer service. Less than the kind of service you'd expect from a JW Marriott. I won't get into the details but a call to management was returned quickly with apologies and more. Evlyan was amazing and really turned a bad stay into a great one. She was so very nice and gave the kind of service you are supposed to receive. Cheers Evlyan.

Captain Tom is incredible. Such a knowledgeable gentleman. Took us to all the key locations to see dolphins and seashells. Knew everything about Marco and was very kind and personable. Highly recommend him and his tour!

The valet staff were beyond rude we would not check in or return.

The ambiance is everything noted from other travelers. The dining options were great as we enjoyed the Italian restaurant on our first evening. Housekeeping was our issue. We did not get timely service and they did not replenish toiletries as expected. One day they didn’t even service our room. The next day we returned late and were shocked it had not been cleaned. We had to go down the hall and ask one of the housekeepers to come and service our room. Have never seen housekeeping still in the halls at 6pm and moving so very slow. Otherwise, other staff was delighted to assist ! And overall great experience and beach!

We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Marco Island. The resort is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean. The rooms and common areas were well-maintained, and the entire property has a relaxing, upscale atmosphere while still being family-friendly. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully designed. One feature we really appreciated was that the toilet area was completely separate from the shower and vanity area, providing extra privacy and convenience for families getting ready at the same time. We also had a two-queen room with a surprisingly large patio/balcony that was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, enjoying the views, and even drying beach clothes and towels. One of the highlights of the stay was the beach. The beach is wide, clean, and perfect for long walks. If you enjoy shelling, definitely spend some time searching along the shoreline—you can find plenty of beautiful shells, especially in the mornings. Our family had a great time shelling together. Don't forget to bring a snorkel as well. Depending on conditions, there are opportunities to spot fish and other marine life near the shore, making the beach experience even more enjoyable. The pools, dining options, beach access, and overall resort amenities made it easy to spend the entire day enjoying the property without ever needing to leave. The staff was friendly and the resort was very well maintained throughout our stay. Overall, the JW Marriott Marco Island exceeded our expectations. Clean, modern, comfortable, and located on a beautiful beach with great shelling opportunities. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marco Island. 🐚 Pro tip: Bring a shell bag and a snorkel, and take advantage of the large balcony for relaxing after a day on the beach!

We recently stayed at the resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience, largely thanks to Jacob. Every single day, he went above and beyond to make sure our beach setup was perfect, setting up our lounge chairs exactly where we wanted them with a great attitude. It’s rare to find that level of consistent, thoughtful service. Jacob truly elevated our vacation and made us feel incredibly welcome. Marriott is lucky to have him on the team—we will definitely be looking out for him on our next visit!

Beautiful older facility. Jacob helped with our chairs each morning. He worked hard to be sure we were comfortable and set up each day. He is an asset to the hotel. Thank you!
