Des Moines Marriott Downtown

We were there for the Winter Blues Festival. Our room was nice and clean. Bed was ok but not great for the price. There were a lot of people there and a lot of drinking. The people in the room next to us were arguing in the night and had music blaring. So we did not sleep well

Went to inhouse event at the hotel everything went well.

Because last month i was there not even a month and room service was 24 hours but they didn't say on the online when u fill out for the room that they didn't have 24 hour's anymore that's one of the big reason i chose to go back

Staff was friendly and got me checked in quickly. Close to lots of fun dining and activities. Comfortable rooms. I enjoyed my stay immensely.

A superb stay! The great service started when we walked in the door and Jane greeted us. She immediately put in a request for the connoisseur to reach out to us about getting to our event. As soon as we reached our room he called and told us he’d be right there when we needed a ride and would pick us up as well. He was so friendly on the ride too! The bartender Rebecca was helpful with places to see and gave great customer service. In the morning the barista at the coffee shop was helpful, cheerful, and thanked us for our stay! I can’t forget the valet people that parked the truck. They were talkative and friendly. And the bedding…amazingly comfortable! 5 star stay!

This hotel has THE MOST FRIENDLIEST AND ACCOMMODATING STAFF! We stayed in this hotel for a wedding in January and I cannot say enough good things about our stay there. The shuttle service was TOP NOTCH: very reliable, timely and accommodating. The bar in the lobby was a great place to gather for a meal and celebrating. I definitely would stay there again if my travels took me there.

Great location if you need to be downtown. 15 minute Uber form and to the airport. They do have a shuttle every 30 minutes. First time for me downtown ~skywalk~ although bit of a maze~can get you to the surrounding businesses and restaurants so you don’t have to brave the Des Moines winter weather. A lot of nice restaurants close by. Onsite restaurant was a bit blah and overpriced. Fantastic gym. Has a pool but I didn’t use it.

This property was three blocks from the venue we were attending, so it was very convenient. The staff was super friendly. We were able to take the sky bridge from the parking garage to the hotel.

The deadbolt on our room door didn’t work. We had to ask the front desk for a bag to go in the ice bucket. The onsite restaurant is only open for breakfast.

When I made the reservation I put in a request to see if we could get a higher floor because my son is really interested in skyscrapers. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She talked to my son about the tallest buildings nearby and she put us on the highest floor she could find available. My son was really happy. It made the stay extra special. Thank you!
