Very clean hotel. Quick check in! Great service!

The location was very good.

The "cabanas" and the 'view" are otherwise known as the original motel that was refurbished to appear upscale was no better than a holiday inn. The view was of the parking lot. The room was not ready an hour after check-in nor 30 minutes later. It was disappointing to have such an average experience at a hotel with such a stellar reputation.

I really am shocked that this is a Marriott. I have been involved with Marriott hotels in the past and they require certain standards of which this hotel is sorely lacking. The bed mattresses are dreadful. The cabanas , which is located down the outside of the building is not lit at nights by standard lighting. It is lit , when they remember , by Christmas type lights. the electric locks securing the cabana's are non functioning with a doorstop taped to the jam in order to allow entrance. these locks have been broken now a year. The hallways on the wing which houses the cabanas have humidity issue. they address this by having store bought dehumidifiers place in the hallway. this is a fire hazard and the fire Marshall should visit. the gate . again and electrictly operated lock securing the property from the outside is not functioning. The property has a new manger and I spoke with him but he only has so much he can do without funds from the management co. Marriott used to have high standards with annual PIPs required. The proximity to the NASA facility is the only reason this is always full. Unless the proximity is required I would seek other options.

The property was clean and updated which was nice. I didn't like there was no microwave in our room and the Market room wasnt visible. I found it looking for a microwave.

Not up to Marriott standards. All around a rather dirty hotel and service is very lacking. I requested a high floor, they put in their notes "not a high floor". For cleanliness and thoroughness, they completely failed. Their was dried urine on the toilet seat and a hole in the bed sheets. Finger prints on all over the door handles. Hair on the floor. The elevators are covered in dirty smudges. I asked at 5pm for the room to be cleaned again. Returned at 11pm and nothing had been done. Manager said that he would go ahead and downgrade my room type, give me a lower floor, and give me a whole 30% discount for the trouble of giving me a room of urine and torn sheets, lying about getting the room cleaned again, and forcing a room change at 11:30pm. Very considerate. Save your money and sanity and book a reputable, clean hotel or bring your own bathroom cleaning supplies.

Property was convenient to space center. Safety was not a priority with all card readers to property broke.

Balcony area was dirty, chairs were filthy and couldn't be used, cigarette butts in coffee cup left on balcony.

The rooms were modern and parking was good.

They charged my card 3 additional times after the initial payment and tied up $1300. The rooms smelled like old mop water. My dad asked the lady at the front desk to verify what his room number was (that he had a key to!) and instead of asking for his ID, she gave him an insulting speech about security protocol and stated she doesn’t know him. You work at a hotel ma’am, people are in and out daily!

Enjoyed

Some employees were very helpful others were not so friendly. The rooms were clean but they provided a false advertisement of what the room would look like. I reserved rooms for King beds with couches neither room had a couch. Overall it’s was a regular hotel but we won’t be coming back Marriott prefe Hilton just thought I’d give this company a try.
