Hyatt Regency Brisbane

I enjoyed my stay here. Walking distance from major establishments. Facilities were good. The hotel staff I met were all nice. Lots of food for breakfast. Great view from the hotel room as well as from the lobby.

Small hotel with big hotel facilities and buzzy atmosphere. Lovely outdoor pool area and terrace which is shaded in the afternoon. Being located between pedestrian mall and Burnett Lane there is no traffic noise. Excellent location for access to public transport, including ferries. Also great location for riverwalk to Southbank, new casino restaurants and bars, a short walk to Riverside Centre restaurant precinct and only half hour easy flat walk to James Street dining precinct. Friendly helpful service across the board. Rooms compact but very efficient with ample storage space and great lighting in the bathroom. Great value.

Lacklustre and very disappointing for what is considered an upmarket hotel the location however is excellent. Room was clean but the air-con switched itself off throughout the duration of our stay leaving us extremely hot and frustrated. Bar staff were inattentive. Reception staff were pleasant.

Save your money and sanity and stay somewhere else. This hotel was so bad on every element we decided we must have ended up at "Faulty Towers" by accident! From lifts being out the entire weekend, to being served deadly allergens at least twice (even though it was fully documented), surly staff who seem to have better things to do. The hotel isn't worth the stress or the cost. They deliver a sub-optimal product. I have no idea how so much can be wrong with this hotel yet they still get a 5 star rating? Certainly don't have a conference here, you will be disappointed.

We stayed at this Hyatt Regency for 3 nights at the end of our trip to Australia. There were some positives & negatives: Positives: Good sized 450 sf suite w/ separate living area; Nice staff. Mgr gave us two drink coupons when we checked in; Great location within walking distance of a mall and plenty of eateries in CBD; Negatives: No Exec Lounge; I should have been upgraded to the next level of suite based on my status. The room did not appear to be an upgrade; Spotty wifi; Weird entrance on Burnett that is basically an alley; We were given a room right next to elevator. Odd hotel for a Regency. This hotel seemed more like a boutique Hyatt brand, bc it did not have a lounge, and the property is small. I am used to big resorts for Regency properties like Kā'anapali, Waikīkī, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Newport Beach, Manila and Milwaukee; Small pool & gym; No jacuzzi; Tiny elevators that can only fit 4 peeps comfortably; The stay was better vs the Hilton in Sydney, and the IC in Melbourne. However, I would not stay here again bc the property is too small to be a Regency IMHO.

Fabulous location. Walk out of the doors and you are in Queen Street Mall. Public transport is easy and the citycat is close by. Citycat is a must do.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Great addition having a pool. Staff were good. Breakfast Great selection and all staff at breakfast were helpful.

First stay at this hotel for a board meeting. Lovely spacious room, very clean and well appointed. Awesome breakfast - will be back!

Love the pool, the breakfast and the welcome. Lennon's breakfast staff always so happy and accommodating and great food selection.
