Location was great. Front desk clerk Sandy was great, very friendly and helpful.

Everything needs an update. The room was clean but had a musty odor. The elevator needs fresh paint and a good clean. There was just a regular bulb in the heat lamp in the bathroom.

The location (downtown) is the best thing about the Ramada Inn. It is the main reason I have booked stays there several times per year over the last several decades.

In spite of the fact that I called and asked explicitly whether all was working fine in the pool, spa, and sauna area, and was assured that all was well, when we arrived we discovered that the heater had been broken in the pool for several months, and no repairs were in sight. It was not possible to swim in such icy water. So, I requested and received a refund for what was supposed to be a 3-night stay and found other accommodations. This is in addition to the general decline that I have noticed on the grounds over the past several years. I really do not plan to return to the Ramada Inn, even though the staff was very good natured.
