Comfort Inn St Louis - Westport Event Center

Staff was amazing and super friendly. Had great amenities for reasonable pricing. Our room had some issues. The bathroom toilet paper holder was broken, the sheets had stains, furniture looked very worn. Our room was facing a building with lots of lights but no blinds to block it so my toddler didn't fall asleep and kept waking us up to look at "the moon". Not a bad hotel but i could have gotten something nicer for 20 bucks more.

The floors are dirty, the room smelled.

Staff were excellent with service! Property needs some attention to repairs and up keep. Chairs had cracked upholstery. Carpet stained. Sink did not have stopper. Shower faucet would not turn off

Saw some weird bugs in the shower, everything could use a fresh coat of paint. Lobby smells like vapes.

The hotel had bed bugs!

Unkempt hotel, dirty floors, ceiling was cracking and peeling. The room had an odor to it, not unbearable, but not great. Staff were nice.

It was a great hotel and not bad breakfast

Front desk told me that I had to make reservation to keep room since I wasn't able to pay until 1230. Was in contact with front desk the whole time letting them know what was going on. So I booked the business double queen bed. Then when I checked back in they kept me in the same room which was a double full and didn't even clean it. Then when I asked about getting money back since I was charged for a more expensive room they told me since I paid in cash in couldn't get any money back

The hotel is old and needs remodeling or just a good cleaning would help. The carpet in the hallways and the room had numerous stains, the bathroom shower head had thick brown calcium deposits, the caulk around the toilet was cracked and stained brown, and the bathroom floor was sticky. The furniture is old with chipped paint and hardware on the drawers was missing. My special request was for a front facing room. The desk clerk said he didn't see that request. So, I was given a room on the back of the building with a gangway with trash and all I could see was another building. I made my reservation and request 6 months in advance as I always do. So my request should have been honored.
