Andana Hotel at Guimaras, Iloilo is simply a PARADISE! It is quiet, with breath taking ocean views, huge clean pools, and well equipped rooms. Front desk and SECURITY staff are EXTREMELY EFFICIENT, FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS WITH A SMILE! Food was great especially the free breakfast:). US foreigners who came with me were KEPT SAFE!!! They were very pleased and impressed of the unsurpassed services of Andana Hotel-- true reflection of FILIPINO HOSPITALITY at its BEST! Andana hotel is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to EVERY ONE INTHE WORLD! There are stairs to go down to the beach. I have weak knees so I struggle to go to the beach. Also, not recommendable for senior citizens. The restaurant to have dinner is not convenient either. The food is not great at all. The water in my room is salty. Not safe to drink.

Pro’s -Clean and Nice view, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, huge space, good food, and my favorite is the pool Con’s -Salty water in the faucet, food and drinks not allowed near the pool (boring), service attendants need more training and more smiling (we ordered food in advance but never told it was out of stock until never saw it coming), no music near the pool or beach.

Me and beau stayed in one of the beach pods, and we appreciate the fact that the room given to us was a bit distant from the other beach pod guests, giving us more privacy and quiet. Our ref did not have any contents, so we also appreciate the fact that there was no corkage for outside food/drink (the food choices were limited to the Estrellita restaurant anyway). The aircon in our pod was very noisy but wasn’t emitting that much cold air, we liked our open doors better... Considering that it is a fairly new resort, it was quite disappointing that the bathroom fixtures were not well maintained (and this did not look clean). The tiles in the pool were coming off too. Something was also in my mango sinigang, but the supervisor assured us that they will write a report about it and offered to either cancel or change the order. Despite all that, overall it was a good holiday because it was quiet, the staff was helpful and the surroundings are generally clean with no ants dropping from the trees or something.

This resort is new and it’s close to perfection! Unfortunately, they need to get professional staffs to begin with and have professional help training their crew. House keeping and maintenance staffs are great but their customer service not to mention their management is really too poor which makes the experience disappointing. The cozy restaurant needs a professional chef for a cozy experience. Concerning our experience besides customer service, is awesome, the comfort of the beds and amenities, the cleanliness , the pool and the wonderful view.

The hotel was really nice and clean. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping and security were all well trained and friendly which added to making our stay so relaxing. The food was very good and had big portions. We just wished they could add more choices to the menu. The water from the faucet was clean but a bit salty which means they need to improve on water quality. Overall, it was a very good stay and I would recommend the hotel.
