Poor service. No readily available room despite confirmed booking. They are giving away beds to other guests.

As always , GSR was a great stay. Really like Reno, but it’s always a 10-15 minute drive to anything good. Services at the hotel were downright expensive.

Got home and seen that my suv was scraped on the lower bumper. It’s a new 2024 suv that I just got. The front desk people were wonderful. We had a great time but Valet is not up to par. Someone parked too close to the hillside in the parking lot and cause noticeable damage to my vehicle. Not cool. First time stayin at the gsr with my family and not a happy out come.

The hotel sends a link encouraging you to e-check in… but the link doesn’t work which really defeated the purpose and was rather aggravating since we wanted to check in and avoid any possible lines. Attempted to check in early on arrival but was told we couldn’t check in until 11 and that we’d be charged a $30 early check in fee. Customer service was mediocre, no one was really friendly or helpful. The room itself wasn’t very clean. Stains on all the linens, including towels. Stains that could’ve been easily wiped off on the countertops as well. Walls/doors are somewhat thin. We clearly heard our neighbors thru the adjoining room doors late into the night which was rather bothersome. Resort itself seems to be geared towards family-friendly activities. They have lots for the kiddos to do and their pool was nice. Lots of food options though I heard their buffet wasn’t great. Expect mark ups on their foods which is to be expected given the setting.
