"Loved the stay at Doubletree in Cairns"

Location and cleanliness were very good. Lovely views from our room.

Secure undercover parking wasn't complimentary. We weren't advised of this on arrival so the extra cost was removed when we realised and enquired.

"Good pool and room, poor breakfast"

The king size bed was so comfortable. The staff were also always so smiley and helpful. We were able to store our luggage and lounge by the pool when we arrived before check in. The shower and toiletries were really nice.

The rooms are not very sound proof. You can hear noise from the street outside and we had a very loud family next door to us which made sleeping difficult at times. We were also disappointed by the breakfast. We went for early breakfast (around 6.30am) and the baked beans were stone cold as were the other cooked breakfast items. I would say that if you were to book here, don't add on the hotel breakfast, eat somewhere else.
