The Pool and Hot Tub were very nice

The managers attitude and lack of concern for our inquires. Negligent double charging us. Even when brought to her attention she still didn't care.

They put me in a room that the tv didn't work. Bad service

With the exception of the water in the shower (didn't get hot, just warm) and the fairly small bathroom, the hotel was fine. Free bottled water, and the exercise room was good. We didn't eat there, so can't say anything about that.

The connecting rooms were noisy and room by highway. Other roo was great.

The room was clean and impressive. The disappointment is not being able to print or send the receipt via email. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Other than the technical difficulties, I would highly recommend this place.

This hotel is not up to Marriot brand standard! This hotel is attempting to wrongfully charge us for a broken TV $552, which is fraud! Tried to turn on the TV while unpacking and could tell it was not only not working, but also appeared possibly damaged. Immediately reported it by calling the front desk from the room phone. The desk person inquired about a room change. Declined, as already unpacked, settled and didn't want to go to the trouble. But still reported none-the-less. Upon checkout two days later, it was reiterated to the desk employee that the room had a broken TV in which the desk employee replied "noted." Having returned from travels, we were going over our credit card expenses online, we noticed a charge for $551.94 pending. Upon reaching out to manager, he stated it was for TV damage that wasn't reported. I explained to him it was reported, not once, but twice. He said he would investigate (which took him about 20 minutes). He said he would not reverse the charges due to lack of reporting. I explained AGAIN it was indeed reported, not once but twice, but we can't get behind the counter and ensure his staff is doing their job. He also said protocol states that the staff must make the customer change rooms when damage is reported, which the staff member did not. They only “asked” if about changing rooms. The manager also said that the reporting at checkout could not have occurred, because he was behind the desk at that time. He was not! That is a lie. There were only a couple female employees behind the desk. Having to now escalate to Marriott’s Department of Consumer Affairs! Wonder why playing hardball in charging a customer $552 (that did their due diligence in this situation to report) is worth the tens of thousands of dollars Marriott loses in future business? This hotel should be removed from the Marriott brand, it’s a disgrace!

The restaurant, the location

Couldn’t raise temperature in room from a cold 65 degrees to something more,comfortable. Was told it was because the swamp,cooler was still on, but they have thermostats that can be adjusted.

Amazing stay

they are doing extensive renovations. Makes the location very dusty. Pool is not open. None of this was known when making reservations. when checking in there was no one at front desk. after 10 min of waiting and was able to find a staff member to locate desk manager. The desk manager seemed annoyed that she had to come to the front desk. desk manager mis pronounced my name and I gently corrected. She then proceeded to mispronounce several more times. Seemingly going out of her way to say my name more than necessary just so that she could continue to mispronounce. The room AC were preset to 65 degrees and and the highest fan setting. If you adjusted the setting they reverted back to the presets 30 min later. Called front desk for instructions on how to override the presets. Was told there was no way to do that. As a result, room was freezing and super loud. When checking out the printers were not working. I wanted to confirm all the charges before leaving, was told they could not do that. I think they are in the process of updating which is understandable. I would avoid until renovations are completed
