Nicely decorated. Cool pool and play area. Love that it has a gym. Overall pretty clean.

The drains were super rusty for a newer hotel. It was weird. Didn’t want to bath the kids there. The room was cleaned pretty fast.Not sure if it was just my room. The towels had some dog hair on it and sheets had some small stains. Which was bothersome on the pillows. Lots of spider webs on wood beams over your head, which makes you nervous to sleep and have a sounder right on you.

Price vs amenities disconnect (A motel charging you extra for parking and then 20-25% of spots coned off. Breakfast service was non existent and they overcharged my son for breakfast when he was not able to understand the coupon

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Lisa for the exceptional service she provided during our recent stay at The Leta while visiting for my son's UCSB graduation. Graduation weekend brought an enormous number of visitors to town, and the hotel was completely full and, I imagine, incredibly busy. Despite that, Lisa took the time to personally address all of my questions and concerns with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. She went far beyond simply assisting with our reservation. Lisa provided valuable advice on how to avoid the heavy stop-and-go traffic associated with graduation events, recommended local sites and activities for our family to enjoy, and even helped us secure reservations at the hotel's on-site restaurant. Her attention to detail and willingness to help made a significant difference in our experience. I have traveled extensively, stayed in hotels around the world, and experienced service at many luxury properties. The level of hospitality Lisa provided was equal to that of the finest five-star hotels I have visited. Her warmth, knowledge, and commitment to guest satisfaction were truly outstanding. What surprised me most was learning at checkout that Lisa is new to both the hospitality industry and the hotel. I would never have guessed it. She conducted herself with the confidence, professionalism, and skill of a seasoned hospitality expert. Lisa was nothing short of exceptional, and she deserves recognition for the positive impact she had on our stay. Employees like her are the reason guests return and enthusiastically recommend a hotel to others. A great find. I will return.

It was a great blend of funky retro and modern conveniences.

Malin & Goetz toiletries were lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Hair dryer pretty good quality. Cocktails at the hotel bar are strong!

To turn on the shower you have to stand in front of the showerhead and blast yourself in the face with cold water first, because you can’t just turn on the water and jump out of the way while it heats up

Totally appalled by the shamefully, dire state of this visibly old motel - slapped with some paint to make a quick buck and branded as " upscale" Hilton Tapestry. After paying over $400 for a birthday weekend we were treated to: - a door knob missing from the bathroom, a towel rail that fell off while in the bathroom because it hadn't been properly secured, a rusted shower rail, faucets that produced stench filled water that was so nauseating that we could nit wash our hands faces or brush our teeth - resorting to cleaning out teeth in the minuscule tub with bottled paid water !!! the furniture was more 'shabby' than chic - cheap, furniture scratched, with visible glass and coffee rings stains. Not to mention soft squishy beds, cheap brittle bedding, and a paint job thrown over hiding bad electrics. DONT BE FOOLED by the CLEVER WIDE ANGLE PHOTOS!
