Hotel Tayko Bilbao

Super hotel op perfecte locatie. Originele inrichting. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Parking goed georganiseerd.

A beautiful hotel, the nicest staff possible, spacious great room, great bed, nearby private parking (for extra payment) and the perfect location possible

I booked the river-facing room, which was a mistake, because we got a room on the first floor, and between the hotel and the river lies a main street. Despite the double glazing, we could hear the cars below our room and people walking in the street. We loved the hotel, and it did not ruin our perfect stay in Bilbao, but I recommend taking a higher floor and not facing the river/street

Breakfast was a bit slow , prefer a buffet breakfast where you can choose and be quicker.

Staying at Tayko Bilbao was an excellent experience. The hotel has a perfect location, within walking distance of the old town and major attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the city.

Great location near the old town, easy to walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Also not a far walk to Guggenheim. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was big. There is also a gym at the hotel which is well appointed. The barman (I think his name was Pepe) was super friendly, we enjoyed his service very much!

the gym had a funny musty smell, perhaps they can do something about it?
