Bear Inn, Somerset by Marston's Inns

Room ,evening meal and breakfast was first class and the staff were superb. Would not hesitate to book again.

The Bear Inn is a very sweet gem of an old English Inn that is very tidy and still atmospheric. The attached restaurant and bar is friendly and very good. With a little Beer Garden the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Hope to Return and stay again. There was a private entrance with a code for after hours access.

Well a spiral staircase up to my room, it was no fun dragging my bags up the spiral stair case. That was the only issue I had and it was only one floor.

We couldnt get our choice from the menu - tried three different bottles of wine but not available. Couldnt get the fillet or rib eye steak not available

Hayley,Hilary and the rest of the staff were so lovely and made our stay more comfortable and they were very friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted. Their customer service was fantastic and the food was excellent thank you all so much Jeff and Tracey

Doors were very hard to open and keep open to get through
