Quality Inn Fort Dodge

Price was real low.

Everything was outdated and or didn’t work. I even called Head to make sure the hot tub was hot and was working. They said yes except it wasn’t. I could’ve went somewhere else that and it was really out-of-the-way and it was only three or four people staying in the whole place. It was like an Abandoned building.

It was on the quiet side of town

The was water leaking on a regular basis right by the front desk. There isn’t a regular housekeeping service. Laundry facilities that were advertised weren’t available or were constantly locked.

Bed bugs

Paid online but when I get there they force me to pay an extra $150 I can’t afford bc I’m from the town and never was allowed to stay

It was right by where our event was

The staff was rude, you had to slam the doors just to get them to shut, at 9am on our last day the key cards for the doors to both of the rooms I rented didn’t work anymore, one rooms currents had a bunch of rips in them, the king suites bed was super uncomfortable

the gentleman behind the front counter had his kids back there with him and they just kept running and screaming while he was trying to help guest. Said the tv in my room didn’t work but it was just the remote that didn’t work. other than that it was a good stay!

It was a very nice hotel. staff were nice and patient with me. However, during the check in, they did not explain how the entry card works on the doors. A lot of the bill paying process was done by the hotel staff member. that process was a little scary because I could not see on the machine what was being signed for and what amount of payment was being made. she hit buttons and tapped ok on the machine, and I had no clue what she was doing. There apparently were no elevators that went to the second floor where my room was located because i had to take stairs each and every time. The room was quite spacious but had lighting issues and the door did not open or close without sticking, I figure that a lot of the issues will be resolved when the construction is finished. The continental breakfast was a complete surprise. It had an abundance of food and great tasting as well. The bed and pillows were great. I went right to sleep and had a wonderful rest.
