There's nothing to dislike, however the hotel is old, it's a bit of a rabbit warren to get to your room but to me it's part of the charm,on saying that it's well signed to find your room and reception

Easy location to find and car parking available. Rooms were large and easy to walk around.

It is dated but it also shows in some areas. We had a room at the front and the windows were difficult to close. The paintwork was old and flaky and needed a clean. Plus the secondary glazing didn’t keep out the noise. Also, the net curtains were very grubby and either need washing or changing.
