I stay here when I'm in Andover as it's excellent value. Right in the town centre so convenient for the shops. It's a beautiful old building with lots of character. The staff are excellent and the rooms comfortable. The hospitality tray has everything and is topped up every day. The breakfast is enormous and well cooked.

Nothing, it's a lovely place.

The only saving graces were the cleanliness of the the very tired and badly maintained room and the super warm friendly lady at breakfast.

Where to start! Reception not easy to find from car park. Staff a little ´chilled’, room badly in need of decorating, paint peeling from pretty much everywhere. Neglect over a long period was obvious. A sofa bed ( why?) that forensics would have a field day on, I didn’t even want to put my bag on it, the only window that would barely open and threadbare carpets. Breakfast was a burnt offering, when the griddle was last cleaned who knows?? Everything was coated in black, even the quarter of tomato, yes quarter ! Value for money this is definitely not, I suggest you find somewhere else.

Staff were very accommodating after an issue with our room. Exceptional service and very friendly. Food was tasty and ghost chilli sauce was blinding! Definitely will return

The food was good,(evening meal) the breakfast varied. Great location for Thruxton Curcuit.

The room was very tired and need a kick of paint ,windows rotting, quite noisy at night from the road and takeaways opposite. (If I had known, I would have asked for a room at the back.) The mattress was heavily stained. Thankfully, it had a mattress topper.
