Solomons Inn Resort and Marina

Frank, Nick and isaiah could not have been any nicer. A warm grating, a smiling face, is what we got when we went to the front counter.

The Wi-Fi connection was weak throughout the facility, the TV's in the room kept buffering. It didn't bother me so much as I wasn't watching TV but it's something expected for guests. I was unable to use my laptop and tablet due to the internet signal.

Room was not very clean, personal hygiene products low grade, noise from air conditioning was loud even wearing ear plugs

They need a restaurant

The room was okay but not super clean . The mirror has some spots and the roôm smelled kind of funny

The room was nice n cozy.

The restaurant prices were way too high for our food. Food was very nasty. Whoever was the cook needs to be fired and learn how to cook.

We were excited to see that the hotel was reopened. The property claimed newly renovated, after being closed for a couple years. The only thing renovated was the lobby area and restaurant. The restaurant did not serve breakfast and we had to drive for breakfast. The wi-fi was VERY SLOW. the furniture was at east 20 years old. Even with a king sized room, there was no dresser. The clothes had to be put in the night stand drawers. And there were only three hangers. Very disappointing. Never again

I discovered the Solomon’s Island area from a Fox 5 DC travel segment and chose this hotel based on top area hotel searches. While the property is decent, it didn’t meet my expectations from the Expedia photos. The hotel is still undergoing renovations, with some areas looking dated and more like a motel than a resort. Room appliances are awkwardly placed, and TV entertainment is limited to streaming apps, which isn’t ideal for all guests. Several outlets and lights didn’t work, and charging devices was inconvenient. Overall, the hotel isn’t fully ready and seems to be renovating without clear progress checkpoints. This said, the hotel staff were great and very accomodating to request and inquiries. Also, the fitness ctr. had just enough to keep up with your workout routine, and the newly renovated restaurant and outside bar were very nice. We really enjoyed bartendars Julie and Avrey.
