"A Must Stay!"

I had such a wonderful experience at Solomons Island Resort & Marina. What really stood out was the management. I needed help with something and the manager went above and beyond to help. That level of care showed me how much they value their guests. The resort itself is beautiful, relaxing, and perfectly located by the water, but it’s the people who make it truly special. Thank you for taking such great care of me. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

"Very nice hotel, but a lot of little things added up to keep from being a great stay."

Location was nice. Hotel was clean and outdoor space was very nice.

The breakfast area was set up very poorly…set the microwaves all together away from the food. Area got congested and made for cranky folks. Also the breakfast seating area was not great. Not enough seats and right between the elevator and check-in counter was a bit chaotic first thing in the morning. There was still some trash left on outside tables in the morning from previous evening.

The breakfast was terrible. The staff in the breakfast room were nasty. Breakfast was whisked away at 9 a.m. in spite of it being a holiday. The explanation was that breakfast on Mondays to Fridays ends at 9 a.m. The sandwiches were frozen.

Shower didn't seem to work. Staff at reception explained that it was necessary to turn and pull the shower at same time. Not easy to operate. Skipped shower in morning. breakfast hours should have been extended for the Labor Day holiday. Also, late checkout was not available because the reception staff said they were fully booked for the holiday. However, the holiday was over on Monday when I checked out.

Had to switch rooms due to broken plumbing. Got in late and shower dripped hot water all night. Lousy plumbing in this place. Staff was great. The Pastor is the best part of the place. Wonderful man.
