Courtyard by Marriott Gulfport Beachfront

I have enjoyed better stays at La Quinta for far less and they include breakfast. This is not what I expected when I booked a Marriott hotel. I was very disappointed with this hotel. My wife asked me to book a different hotel once we arrived but I didn’t want to lose the money I paid for our room

Great location, peaceful, setting, easy, beach, access, lovely pool, wonderful staff, exceptional bartenders, Sheena and BEAU

The location was fine

The smell on our floor was musty. The room had black mold on the ceiling that they tried to paint to cover up. The room stayed wet and muggy even with the AC on. The carpet was sticky and disgusting. We stayed two night and our room didn’t get cleaned the second day. We didn’t have enough towels and when we went ask for some twice, they said they didn’t have any clean

The view of the water was wonderful. The room was very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that they ran out of towels and wash clothes that were clean so we had to wait until the evening to get them from the front desk.

Location was good.

The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. There was mens body wash still in the shower, and the previous tenant trash in the garbage can. The side door was able to open without a room key, so it was not secure

For the price they could have all the ice machines working had to go to the 1st floor..room was on the 5th floor..smell isnt so pleasant..& not to mention dogs were on the property as well
