It was ok - had to leave early because dog was sick

Old hotel that was cheaply renovated. Our room was very damp and had a mildew smell. Paint was chipping off the bathtub and tile walls that they painted white to make look better. Knob to adjust shower temp was broken so couldn’t adjust temperature of the water. Part of wall was rotted and cheap baseboards use to try and cover up. Room was not cleaned after day 1 nor did we have clean towels or wash rags. I had to go to front desk to request. Beds were not comfortable. Great location for us as our friends boat was at Marine Max. We also enjoyed the bar Encore that was walking distance from our room. Price charged per night and extra resort fee was not worth it and should be significantly lower.

Our shower leaked and maintenance came up and said it will be ok and to just put a towel in the corners. There were no towel hooks to hang our towels at all. They wouldn’t light the firepits in the pool area unless there were 6 or more people sitting there. The beds were not comfortable at all. The pillows sucked. The swim up bar was amazing tho!

Enjoyed the property and Encore. Staff were friendly. Only issue was there was a smell coming from the AC. Other than that the property is clean and provides entertainment to guests.

Had a great time staying at The Resort at Lake of the Ozarks. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. We didn’t leave the property. Great food at The Encore, live entertainment at night and a great swim up bar to hang out during the day.
