Best Western Plus Indianapolis North at Pyramids

it was in a convenient location, and the property was well kept with nice amenities. the breakfast bar was really nice.

This hotel was very nice. I really didn’t care for the area it was in, but I felt safe once I got in my room. It was very clean and neat the front desk. Staff was very helpful. The first gentleman seem like he was New goes. Wasn’t sure what to do, but everything worked out just fine. The manager even waved my Deposit fee because they were slower and to apologize for the first customer service representative. I thought that was very nice when I checked out, they had breakfast just enough for you to eat and get on your way iron My at the second front desk person. She said she had been there three days without a break, but she was very helpful and informative About the visit and welcome me to Indianapolis. I will stay at this hotel again. The parking lot was a little dark. I was a little leery of it, but otherwise I was OK overall.

4 tiny pillows on a king bed is not enough. 2 does not even make 1 decent head pillow and most people now sleep with a knee pillow also.

The location was excellent in relation to the places I was visiting in Indianapolis. The front desk staff were amazing at problem solving and resolving a few issues. The bed was comfortable, and the room was extremely quiet.

The hotel was a bit run down. There were tiles that were chipped and possible mold issues in the bathroom tub area. The sheets were very thin and had remnants of hair from previous guests. The bathroom towels were also very thin. The stairway area needed swept as the carpet was quite dirty. I was also surprised by the strong smell of marijuana throughout the 2nd floor hallway even though this was a non-smoking hotel. I had issues upon check in with my payment. I had already paid for the two nights through booking.com. The hotel did not have record of this but I provided my receipts to them. They advised that they would deal with booking.com for payment. They also did not have me listed as staying for two nights. Upon further review, they found that booking.com had registered me for two separate nights. The front desk staff were extremely patient and professional and took great care of resolving the issue.

Easy access to the interstate

-I didn’t feel safe while we were there. It was a very uneasy atmosphere - lots of folks loitering about outside and in the lobby. -The staff was not helpful. When we had problems, they made excuses instead of fixing the problem. For one example, our TV only showed the black and white “fuzz” because the cable box didn’t work. Instead of them coming up to fix it, they told us how to wiggle the wires to see if it helped. It did for a few minutes then never came back. They said they would get a new box for us, but they never did. When I asked again, they said there was nothing they could do. -It was also very dirty - from the lettuce on the chair in our room to floors not being vacuumed all weekend to the staff not cleaning up vomit by the doors (multiple doors) for the two days we were there.

Really enjoyed this property.
