I like the area surrounding but maintenance could have been better

My room did not lock, and 2 other families I was traveling with were given keys to already occupied rooms. Line was very long at front desk with one worker and could never report that my room did not lock. Another family was camped out in the hallway because their room key stopped working, and they were waiting for help. The next morning there was no one to be found working the front desk to let them know my room did not lock, and no one working the breakfast to let them know the coffee was gone before 7 am.

All was good except our sink was clogged. However they were able to fix it quickly

It really bothers me to write a bad review, as I dont want anyones business to be negatively affected, i am only doing so so that the hotel management sees this and fixes these issues so it wont happen again to someone else. After checking in late ar night, all i wanted to do was take a shower and go to sleep. I went into the bathroom and noticed some hair in the bathtub, so I called the front desknand asked to change rooms. They gave me a new room. I checked the bathroom and unfortunately tgere was hair in the second bathtub as well. I called the front desk and asked to change rooms again. At this point, the only rooms available were of an upgraded status and the front desk lady said she would have to charge me to upgrade. I

Our room had not been cleaned for a very long time.

When we arrived we had to wait for over an hour to check in as there was only one person working and multiple tournaments let out at the same time. The poor girl working had no help, rooms that said they were cleaned were not, rooms that did not apparently appear occupied in the system were. Multiple people returned to inform that there was someone else already in a room they were just checked into and received a key for as well. That lack of security was a concern for myself. We personally did not have any additional issues, and it was a fairly average otherwise clean hotel room for us to get some sleep before leaving early the next day for another tournament day. Would likely not stay here again, and wouldn’t recommend.

Lots of issues with local staff.

There was construction/upgrades going on so there was dust everywhere. The shower was clogged with dust and peices of drywall. I was able to clean it out with effort to take a shower. The sink only had cold water, the hot water was not on. We only told the front desk on checkout about the issues. We were only there late night into early morning. The breakfast was hot but the eggs had green in them so we decided not to eat them. I was skeptical about the coffee but it ended up great! The night staff were very nice and the morning staff was attentive when we told him the rooms issues.
