Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Havelock

The place was absolutely filthy with tons of holes in the walls there were tons of weird smells and liquid on the floors. My room had to be changed bc the sheets and towels were still dirty to which I was told they were just stained not dirty. The staff was rude and stated they only change the towels every 3rd day. This was the absolute worse place I’ve ever stayed

No one was at the desk to check us in . We had to call the number multiple times before anyone came. Waited over 15 minutes. The advertised breakfast was not available and the pool was not open. Not good when its 90 degrees. The room was fine and it was quiet, so those are a plus. It's an olderDays Inn that could use a little TLC, but not bad for the price.

Roaches in the room. Broken windows. Poop residue on toilets. Mold. Advertises pool and breakfast but when arrived those things were not available and they wouldn’t allow a refund. Other guests leaving the outside doors open with a rock which is so unsafe. Phone didn’t have a plug and didn’t work. Microwave barely worked. The tv was unplugged along with all of the lamps for some reason. Toilets didn’t flush all the way. Had a bad odor in the room. Not happy at all. I want a refund considering the whole reason we wanted to stay there was because of the movie theatre being close by and the pool so my nephew could swim. It’s a shame that I booked and paid online because if I would’ve drove there to book the room I would’ve walked right back out.

Things to know: their website says they have breakfast and a pool, however, it's closed in July but you do have a bathtub in your room with a coffee maker and a vending machine down the hall. I requested clean sheets because I thought the room hadn't been cleaned but when the fresh sheets arrived I realized they were all just stained. The shower pressure and beds are nice. Would I recommend it? No

There was puke between the couch cushions in the room. The pillow cases and sheets were stained. The bathroom wasn’t clean. I switched rooms and it wasn’t clean either. Never stay there again!

Clean sheets and towels. Thats the positive.

There was no air-conditioning in the front lobby; the air-conditioning cover was off when we got the room; there was black mold under the mattress, in the shower, on the bed frame, and all around the room; there was a horrible odor, which we can only assume was because of the aforementioned; the window have been cracked and duct taped; the sink was cracked; we could not get access to Wi-Fi because there was only a limited amount of access for the whole hotel, and we had to get the front desk to come help us several times. The front desk clerk was actually a very lovely guy so his service was great, but he had actually called on the owner to help and I heard the owner tell him that he could not help even though this poor guy was trying to check in guests while helping to service the rooms. I will never stay at this place ever again and I filed a Report with the Better Business Bureau and sent a letter to the corporate office.

Roach motel comes to mind. Roach ran up the door right in front of me on our last night there. No breakfast, no pool. No mention of these not being available on the website.

Do not under any circumstances stay here. It is clear this hotel is used for one thing and one thing only. I stopped here with my child at 1am as a road trip pit stop. I was driving so couldn't read the reviews. Got there,the room was filthy,sheets torn and dirty and the smell of mildew was overwhelming. It was unsafe. The neighbors wereeeee loud and I just got the worst feeling it my gut. We moved rooms,dragged my stuff up the creepiest,dirtiest stairwell only to find our new room already open,dirty linens all over the bed. I told my son we were leaving. Went about 0.5 miles down the road for a much safer,cleaner stay. This place, is a cover for something else. It isnt an actual hotel and I'm extremely disappointed in humanity after seeing that building in operation. Have some pride in yourselves.
