I’m not a fan of buffet style breakfast

We had such a nice experience, whatever needed we received excellent responses and property was well maintained despite it wasn’t remodeled it was clean and decorated nicely! Amy K was so helpful!

Have to commend the reservation staff at the Holiday Inn. Amy, in particular, was very helpful and demonstrated a friendly demeanor wanting to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

Both myself & my husband were impressed with the cleanliness of this establishment, a 10/10 the most important part for us). The mattress, pillows and comforter gave us a cloud-like sleeping experience (I would love to purchase these pillows). The staff was warm & friendly and very sweet & accommodating, especially Amy, the concierge who was generous to gift us a wine and dessert for our anniversary. This location is in great proximity to downtown where there are many eateries and boutiques-you can leave your car in their parking lot and walk the few blocks. It is also very close to the casinos and the race track. We also had the breakfast buffet (2 of the 3 mornings of our stay)which had many options at a great price.

The only disappointment we had was that the dinner food (which we had 1 night of our stay) was EXTREMELY salty and could not be eaten, which was rectified with them taking one meal off our bill. The only thing that we could critique is that in the future, when it’s time to change is not to get new carpet for the rooms(it is a personal preference of both mine and hubby’s), we find it cleaner as carpet holds dirt in the fibers.

The entire staff were extremely courteous, from the front desk, to the bartenders and housekeeping. Excellent stay, I will definitely be back
