Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort

We found rat poop in the cabinets and a card left from the last people so it was clearly not cleaned and the food was overpriced at the resort DO NOT come here it’s a waste of 1900 dollars

Checked into unit A201 and there was rat droppings all in the cabinet near the couch. The unit is extremely small ( only one person can walk down the hall at a time) and there was only one adult and 2 children. The location is nice you are centrally located on the island. The resort did have fun activities for the kids like movie night at the pool, a dance party and karaoke night. If your not planning on staying in the unit the place is fine..

We enjoyed our trip. Three restaurants on site and beach viee was beautiful. They have events all the time.

Room was super dated, whole complex needs updating! Appliances were broken.

The close proximity to the beach. The speediness of fixing the AC.

I did not like the elevator being out of service. The AC unit went out our second night there. There are no ceiling fans and the temperature became 85° at night. I also did not like the size of the TV or the internet speed.

Do NOT stay in villa g15!!! Pictures attached, but maintenance and front desk didn’t care about any of the issues. Random leak in master bedroom doorway entire week long stay had to put a paper towel down which turned brown after one day from water. Was told they couldn’t figure it out so oh well. Also leak out of vent in kitchen causing paint to bubble. There’s prob mold in the vents if water is just up there and slowly leaking out, my daughter has severe allergies and had swollen itchy eyes for the first 3 days. Floorboards missing under twin bedroom in guest room. Cracked ceiling in bathroom, dust and discoloration throughout condo. Paneling lifting in multiple areas. Floorboards uneven and sinking in most spots.

One room was clean and updated, the second room was good

The people blamed the mixup on Booking, one night in one room, and the second night in another room. I was told check out was 10 and I had to pack up and load my car up, and wait till the room was cleaned the next day. I spoke to the cleaning people, and they said they would be done cleaning by noon. I went to the front desk and they could have NOT cared less, offered nothing.. then they called me at 3;22, and said the room was ready, when check in was 3, again said nothing. No one at Beach and Tennis club went out of their way to accommodate their guests. As we have stayed there before with pretty much the same cavalier attitude I believe I will look elsewhere for accommodations. This being the second time I have critiqued with not even a response, I know NO ONE reads these, it’s really too bad.

Loved the pool, beach,and room was comfortable. Beautiful area. Quiet. Family friendly. Parking was great. Great location close to putt putt golf and grocery store. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Our condo room was located on the 3rd floor. The elevator was out of order and seemed to be for a long time. We had to carry a lot of stuff to the third floor. It was exhausting. Will never do that again. When I checked in at front the person working seemed annoyed and was abrupt. I wouldn't say a friendly welcome. The pool was nice but crowded. A lot of people were drinking alcohol and it was apparent. Restaurant on site was ok. Expensive for food quality. We only ate there once.

For the price, the location, the restaurants, bar, pool, and access to the beach, you cant go wrong!
