I love this hotel - been coming here for years. It has retained its original charm even with its gorgeous remodel. Whitney at the front desk is efficient, friendly, and warm.

"Hotel Can’t Handle a Crowd"

Hotel staff was overwhelmed the entire stay and couldn’t handle the number of guests at the hotel. Kitchen was always backed up, bar ran out of many items and mixers, beach towels were a rare commodity, room towels even more scarce, only one elevator worked for entire stay and just one person working the breakfast coffee stand having to multitask making drinks, pastries, taking orders, and running register. Plus food, drinks, parking, and resort fees all very high! Beautiful property and beach, but avoid during busy times. Hotel is way too expensive to have these issues!

"Terrible Stay- Never again"

Don't go here. No towels, poor service, (the people who were there- Nicole, Brandon, tried real hard but they were great but they need way more staff. no room towels. Dirty garments found in room, no conditioner or soap in room. No help from management. Loud air-conditioning outside room, which also blocked view. 4 days overt $2K. Beach is beautiful but there are many other hotels on the island. Hilton management asleep at wheel. If I was hotel owner I would be livid. Will never stay at a Hilton again.

"It was apparent it was the end of the holiday season, and this is the time for repairs and recovery."

The view was nice from our room. The room was nice for the most part. The cleanliness could have been better. Nicole and Brandon were excellent in the restaurant. Chase was so helpful and hospitable on the beach.

We felt bad for the restaurant staff being severely understaffed. The delays were long and took time away from other events we had planned.

"Checked out early..... terribly run "resort""

The best part of this property is the beach front location. It all ends there. We had planned to stay for 4 nights and checked out after 1. Our first room smelled like stale cigarettes. The next room we got was next to the elevator, so we heard the elevator equipment all day and night long. Plus a dog barking frequently down the hall. The hotel was not equipped to handle a busy holiday season. Two days we went to the beach and no beach towels. The second day I tried to get beach towels at 10am and they were already out and didn't have any for the rest of the day. There was a 3 year old boy walking around the beach buck naked because his mom didn't have a towel to cover him. And then we didn't have bath towels in our room later. How does a hotel not have enough towels for its guests? The service at the beach was awful. They had one server for probably 200 guests. He was nice and tried his best but neither he nor the kitchen could keep up with the crowd. Lunch took almost 2 hours - the lobster rolls were overcooked, dry and terrible, yet it cost us over $200 for lunch for 4. When we checked out early, the woman at the front desk was very nice and told me I'd receive a call from the manager after I gave her my laundry list of complaints. Never heard from anyone,. There is no way this is a 4 star "resort".

"Very disappointed and won’t be back."

The pictures of this hotel are beautiful on the website. But…for me that is where it ended. It started when we got to our room. Stains on the couch and carpet. Smelled of pets. I was moved to a room across the hall which was better but still stains on the carpet. Have had to keep a towel under my door to keep the smell of marijuana out. If I could get my money back I would leave. Here are the things that ruined my vacation one situation after another. No towels at the beach or pool everyday they run out. Ran out of mixes for drinks Mold in my room on vent and ceiling Sheets not fitting the bed-came off all night Hour and a half wait on room service Called 4 times for extra blankets and were made to feel like we were thieves doing something with extra blankets. Took the blankets when cleaning by the room and had to call again! Had to call for toilet paper and towels after room cleaning. Some of the staff act irritated that I am ordering food or drinks or asking for things-basic things. One of two elevators out the whole time. I could go on but I think you get the overall review. So disappointed for the vacation we were looking forward to after Christmas.
