Newport Marriott Hotel & Spa

This is an ok hotel in nice location in Newport RI. Hotel is clean but rooms are a bit small and it is expensive for what you get. I have not stayed in other places in Newport so this may be just what you get. The reason for The lower rating is the service. No one was friendly. The people at the desk were rude and acted Like we were bothering them. Overall service was not what I Expect from a hotel of this level/cost. In addition no one mentioned Marriott status - ambassador elite level was not recognized at all during stay. I realize it is newport so understand not getting upgraded but at least they could be pleasant. A disappointing experience from service perspective , overall just average hotel in nice location.

This is a great location and the staff was great. Rooms are comfortable, but need refreshing. But I would stay here again.

Deeply disappointed with the service Today, August 12, 2025, we did not receive housekeeping service for two of our rooms. When we called reception at 4:30 pm, the staff answered very rudely, implying that it was our decision not to have the rooms cleaned, which is absolutely not true. They offered no solution other than a change of towels. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel in this price range, and we do not recommend anyone to stay here. Overall, the attitude of the staff is very poor.

El check out fue una mala experiencia. Reserve por Booking y no les había llegado el pago y querían volver a cobrarme todo el importe.
