Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz

The front desk staff were excellent. We were greeted every time whether coming or going. They were professional, friendly, and very helpful with any need we had. Kudos to all of them! Our room was comfortable and in a quiet location per our reservation request. The breakfast at this hotel was spectacular—especially for a guest who is celiac or gluten sensitive. The food director gave me a personal tour through the buffet to show me safe foods and then proudly showed me the designated gluten free area—complete with excellent signage AND a dedicated gluten-free toaster. I was touched by the evident care taken to ensure gluten -free guests had as lovely a dining experience as other guests. Thank you!!

We like the location of this hotel as it is convenient for us to get around in Bergen. Since hotel is off the busy streets of tourists, it gave us quiet evening time. Hotel breakfast is superb with so many different options. The front desk people are friendly and provided us a lot of local tips.

Excellent breakfast lots of choice and helpful staff. The bar and lobby area is very comfortable and the hotel is perfectly located for easy access to excursions attractions and the airport

Stayed here a total of three nights a few weeks ago. Split stays. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast is without a doubt a massive win. Can’t wait till we’re back!

Fantastic hotel with THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER! So memorable. The rooms are bright and clean. The staff are helpful and kind. Lastly, Michael in the kitchen is serving up some of the best food I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to be back!

Generally a little dated and not as plush as other more modern Thon hotels. Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
