Clarion Hotel & Conference Center Lansing West

The Clarion. West Saginaw in lansing has the cruelest most unkind staff i have ever encountered anywhere. I ended up canceling before my stay. They also are not handicap compliant. The receptionist should be tarred and feathered and finally fired.

The location was good since it was near Super Walmart and across the street from Horrock’s!

The room was disgustingly dirty!..the mirrors were dusty and/or dried splashes of old toothpaste water or something similar, the toilet was gross with other guests DNA on the toilet, the bathroom counter was dusty, the refrigerator leaked so much water, there was NO carpet but some kind of what looked like peel and stick flooring that wasn’t swept and mopped any time recently, there were 3 towels, 2 hand towels and 1 washcloth…I asked for clean towels and they(cleaning staff) said to leave the dirty towels outside the door and they would replace them…NEVER HAPPENED!!! But they did pick up the dirty towels! The breakfast is only served until 9 am (10 am Sat & Sun) which is quite early! The room was very small but the bathroom had NO ROOM to close the door after stepping in unless you positioned yourself near the wall and move while trying to get the door closed!!! The hostess/front desk staff wasn’t friendly…when checking in…but when checking out, the staff(different person) was very nice! There is a bad oder in the elevators and every floor. So, for the price…the rooms aren’t worth any more than $50-$60 per night. I never used the pool. Also, staff wasn’t able to give me a receipt when checking out but did offer to write one out for me!

The location was good and the staff was nice.

Very run down, outdated, in need of repair, not clean, smoking in facilities, lots of commotion at night.

The room was clean and comfortable. I needed rest in a big way and I got it there
