OYO Hotel Brownwood Hwy 67

We checked in and the ac was out in the lobby. We got to our room and the ac was rusted and had no vent cover and was blowing warm air. There were roaches under the sink and one of the bed frames was a twin while the mattress was a queen. Definitely would NOT recommend and we ended up walking right back out and going to another establishment to stay. Don’t stay here trust me!

Not a good stay. They would not gouge enough towels and it looked like there was blood on the shower curtain and bedding. No trash cans in the rooms. People fighting and disturbance outside and drinking. Not a kid friendly place at all.

This place is rent by the hour kind of hotel. The a/c in the lobby was not working and it was dirty and nasty. I tried cancelling my reservations but Hotel.com kept dropping my calls. I spoke to 5 different representatives and all didn’t get my reservation cancelled in time and I was charged for both nights. I am very upset at the Hotels.com for not following through with my cancellation and was charged for both night. Hotels.com clear my app account and lost the night I had already gained.

Waited 2 days to get the pool open that was dirty and never cleaned. The rooms are were very dissapointing. There is no vending machines and property poorly maintained. Left before wvek going to bed the second night

We didn’t stay here because it was so nasty! It is nothing like what the internet pictures show. It was gross save yourself the headache and stay at the Hampton thats what we did. Waiting on Hotels.com to refund us or money since we didn’t stay at the hotel.

Room was dirty Second night when we got in there were dog treats in the room that were not there the night before. Outlets didn’t work Sheets were dirty Will not stay there again.

Worst hotel I’ve ever seen. Checked in to a lobby with no A/C. Clerk was nice and checked us in. I immediately went to my room to check it out. We were visiting family in the area and would be returning late at night. While entering the side by my room, I was stared down by 2 men who were standing outside the entry and felt extremely unsafe. Room smelled old and dingy and looked DISGUSTING! Nothing like the pictures from the website. The vanity had a huge crack in the middle and looked like it would fall off the wall at any minute. I understand the place was categorized as a “cheap motel”, but at least remove the grocery carts of trash and junk built up in the breeze way were customers enter. I left the hotel the meet my family and felt very nervous about returning late at night with just my 2 children. I had already prepaid for the weekend and did not want to stay there. I called the hotel and was told to call hotels.com to try and get a refund. I’ve rented many hotels in my life and I have never felt as unsafe and disgusted as by this OYO property.

We went by the pictures on website and it showed everything remodeled and it was not. We did not stay. It was in horrible shape. Mattress has holes. Hair and dirt on floor. No thank you. I lost out on $56 but I should have known better. That was a cheap price for a cheap hotel.

Picked this bc of the scrubbed clean motto. When we arrived there was no AC in the lobby so just getting checked in was uncomfortable. Finally got our room key and drove around to our room. The key worked but the door was jammed and couldn't budge it. Drove back to the lobby to request a new room as we didn't want to deal with a jammed door. The desk clerk wasn't very interested in changing our room and promised he could open it, so we followed him back and watched as he worked the door in the jamb and finally got it open. Once inside we were greeted with cold AC and huge leak where the AC condenser was leaking. The floor looked like someone had swabbed it footprints were all over the laminate. We refused to go barefoot. At the transition from main room to restroom, the laminate was buckled and bounced when you walked on it. We reserved a King room yet were issued one hand towel and one bath towel. There was no tissues and of the four lamps in the room, one had no bulbs, and the other three had only one bulb in their dual bulb sockets. There was no room phone so my husband had to walk to the lobby to request more towels and bulbs. Someone finally came at 10:30 pm with another bath towel and 3 hand towels. When we finally showered (nice showerhead), the tub did not drain. Rental listing said fridge, microwave and internet. Couldn't get internet and there was a hole in the furniture where the microwave was probably supposed to go. I would not recommend this.

Terrible...so not what looks like in pictures. No TV in room, no toiletries, bathroom was horrible and shower didn't even work. Checked out for second night of stay.
