Emerald Beach Hotel Corpus Christi

There was no breakfast and no dining room. I liked the access to the beach.

They did not have a working phone in the room, I asked for clean towels and got hand towels to dry my entire body. I asked that my cash deposit be returned to my card or mailed to me and it was refused. I never saw any housekeeping staff and it smelt like someone over did it with Fabulouso. I feel the front desk person stole $100 from me

Nothing it was filthy and had mold everywhere wasn’t given option for my money back was offered 3 rooms and all where nasty

I didn’t like anything it was a horrible experience I have plenty of proof of how bad location is with video and picture proof

Absolutely nothing

The property is outdated, smell of mildew, visible mold, a/c not right, floor sweating, room had no towels, and sink and shower was stopped up. I asked for towels twice and still didn’t get them. I had to go to front desk, because phone in room wasn’t working. Four out of six towels had long hair on them. I ended our stay after one night, and had to spend money at another hotel for the remainder of trip.

How dirty it was, black mold everywhere, fragrance trying to cover up the black mold smell, dirty bedding, dirty shower, empty soap bottles and dirty, over all everything was dirty. Even the floors were not swept or mopped. There was no breakfast and we were led to believe there was supposed to be breakfast. Two of 3 bars closed down. The only bar thats supposed to be open is barely open. The kitchen was closed down. Nothing was as we were lead to believe it was going to be. Even the drink fridge in the lobby was empty. Mildew smell every hallway. It felt like a $40 room not a premium Bayside room. Oh, and both my husbands are blondes. There was black long hair everywhere. I want to add more photos of the filth but there was too much.

On the beach. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning was perfect. The room was very nice and clean. Pool, beach and Kokomo outside bare were great.

The parking lot was confusing. Should just be for motel guests. Was told that the machine in parking lot wasn’t working and that for guests it was free. I wish the staff spoke a little better English hard to understand sometimes. Our coffee maker didn’t work, asked for new one, never got it. Disappointed no free breakfast for guests and the restaurant was closed for renovations. There was a family playing loud, vulgar songs very loud one afternoon with little kids around on the beach. Should be a rule against that. I’ve stayed at the Emerald Beach and remember when it was newer. Sad to see the ballroom used as storage.
