Our room had a view on the air-conditioning on the roof, the room was basic, but the bed was very comfortable, was disappointed that is was a bit overpriced and didn't include breakfast, this was extra. The Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent

We booked this room as a last minute stay. The room (number 5) was really decent in size and looked very modern, we were surprised at how clean it was too, absolutely spotless! The bathroom was a bit basic and maybe needs some modernising. It didn’t have a bath, but the shower is a decent size and not too small, only thing we would moan about with the shower was how loud it was, it honestly sounded like an elephant! Our other moan was the gap under the front door of our room was to big and it did feel a little less private, but also at night the light shone through it and we had to lay towers down in front of it to block the light as the hallways light was on all night. But overall we would stay again as it’s in a great location, very quiet and the pub itself has nice food and a cute little beer garden to sit in.

Pretty pleased with the stay, staff were welcoming and helpful, letting me stay for another hour for a Zoom meeting with no hassle. Only issue is the noise from what I think is the pipes throughout the morning as people took their showers around the hotel. Stepped in to mine and it was like a jet going off! Apart from that, a great stay.

Room was big and shower worked well. No glasses for water and room felt a bit over priced by the time breakfast was added in.

We stayed 2 nights as a celebration of our 15th wedding anniversary. It was a really great place to stay ideally positioned for both Bakewell and Matlock. Staff were so helpful and the food was fantastic. We will definitely stay again and would recommend.

Brief stay as working locally, was a pleasant accomodation, lovely premises. A great size room, with a comfortable bed. Great value I'd say.

I thought that the service was great and that the room & bathroom were very spacious and suitable to our needs. The food was also very good quality and interesting.
