Staff very friendly and polite. Very comfortable bed. Windows need some work but refit is being done from next week so hopefully that will be sorted. All in all a good experience and would visit again.

Good location for Matlock and Chatsworth. Restaurant and rooms tiday and reasonable.

Very basic room. Far too hot and no air con. Loud generator type noise outside our window all day and night. Water stains on ceiling. Shower head wouldn’t adjust and just hit the shower door and no water went on you in the shower. Also shower made an awful screeching noise that felt like it could be heard in the whole building and light kept dimming and brightening in the shower. TV was in a weird place in the corner of the room and difficult to see from the bed. Really difficult to open the door with the key. We felt we had paid a lot for a very basic room that wasn’t great.

Property provided comfort and convenience.

Room #8 is above three loud kitchen and fridge air-conditioning units, moved to #3 where road traffic noise was a slight issue

Good location for lots of activities. We stayed for 1 night, to attend Peakender Beer festival close by. Bus stop just across road. Nice big room, staff friendly, breakfast was great value

Did not know room was up very steep awkward stairs( was not told) No wardrobe just open hanging space and no drawers st all to put clothes underwear in. Shower wax over bath and didn't drain well making it impossible to use as you would be standing in 4inches of water. I think this accommodation was very expensive for what was provided

Handy for Chatsworth and Bakewell. Spacious room and simple decor.

Location wad ideal for visiting Chatsworth House. The duvet was too high a rating for summer and there need to be a change to suit. Pillows were tòo soft. The staff and breakfast were very good.

Lovely staff. Good food. Clean rooms and good area
