Guests highly rate the clean rooms and frequently praise the friendly staff.
I loved the pool, laudry and exersise room. It was quiet and comfortable.
Clean comfortable rooms. False Fire alarm with evacuation at 5am. Glad it was a false alarm, but oh my, that alarm was louder than anything I've ever experienced.
Nice one night stay after a concert in Homer. Clean, comfortable and convenient. A bit close to I-81, but with the a/c fan on, road noise was covered.
USThe hotel wasn’t bad. It’s just the room smelt a little funny, and I noticed that somebody lived in the hotel next-door to the room. We were in which made me a little uncomfortable.
That people live in the hotel it just would rather be in a hotel where people aren’t living there
USI have stayed at your hotel numerous times. I was very disappointed being in room 206. The noise level from the pool was horrible. We left LI at 3:30 in the morning, we were trying to rest and we couldn't because of the noise level. We called the front desk twice and and the noise level lower for awhile but it went up again.
The noise. I should have been told about the room by the pool.
USVery clean
Not enough pillows and the pillows there were too small and soft
The cheapest highly rated hotel in Cortland area closest to the University. Newly renovated and very clean. Would recommend stay
The front desk staff was welcoming upon arrival. The room and bathroom were clean and well-appointed. There is also a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We did note causes for concern around safety. When arriving to the room, the door seemed to be unlocked. Then when leaving the room after settling in, we confirmed that the door indeed would not lock. We did happen upon a member of housekeeping, who after 10 minutes and contacting maintenance, helped us to resolve the issue. Overnight, we were awoken to the fire alarm. We chose to evacuate our room and waited 15 minutes before the fire department came to stop the alarm. No one from the staff came around during that 15 minutes to check in on guests or reassure us that it was indeed a false alarm. The room we were assigned was next to an outdoor courtyard. We could not open our window blinds to maintain privacy from anyone being able to look directly into our room. A group of guests sat outdoors drinking and talking in this area until after midnight which made it difficult to have quiet for sleep. The walls must not be soundproof as we could also hear all talking and noise from the hallway. Across the street from the hotel there is a laundromat. We saw the police on site in the early evening trying to get a group of people loitering and drinking to leave that property. Recommend this hotel for a quick overnight stay only, but not if you are hoping for a night of good sleep.
Upon arrival the area around the hotel appeared unsafe. The women working the front desk appeared to not know what she needed to do to check us in and the equipment wasn't working. (Printer, computer). The room was fine. At 5:30am the fire alarm went off so we went outside and no one from the hotel gave us the clear to go back in. We just went in after the alarm stopped and saw others going in. At 10:30am the fire alarm went off again. At this point we just left.
