Salina Ambassador Hotel and Conference Center

Looks like abandon building and to dark inside. Carpet in the lobby is wet & ugly. Laundry is not working.

The location was great and the parking was in good position. The actual hotel is in need of a lot of repair from leaking roofs to busted interior lighting. Our room was just fine though.

Upon arrival we noticed the parking lot was overgrown with weeds and falling apart. We actually were concerned if the hotel was even open. Upon entering you are hit with an overwhelming smell of moldy dampness. We had two rooms, I guess they were clean but because of the smell you felt like they were not. The bathrooms were very dated with drop ceiling that one of us, who is very tall, had to duck to take a shower. The pool area was closed, which was very disappointing. We will definitely not be staying here again.

I’m shocked this hotel has as high a rating as it does. The hotel smelled stale with a combination of 30 years of smoke and lack of use. The hotel was probably built in the 70s and I believe the mattresses are from that time period. They are lumpy, by husband referred to it as a “hammock”. The air conditioner did not work and when it blew air it was musty. We checked into the accommodations after 10:30 PM and we left by 6 just to get out. Breakfast was offered, but we did not partake.

A bit dated, but one of the cleaner hotels I've stayed in over the past few weeks of travel. Good size bed and room. Clean bathroom (yay!). Fridge and microwave in room. This place is large - I had an interior room, so no iew of anything other than the inner courtyard, but I was only there for the night. Free wi-fi (it worked), loads of parking, and free breakfast (pretty basic, waffles, yogurt, breads and pastries - but the muffins were full size and good! And the OJ was tasty and not just the stuff that comes out of the basic machines). Could have done without Fox News blaring on the TV but I just tuned it out as best I could so I could enjoy my breakfast. Great rate and easy access to the interstate (including quickly getting back to 70W).

This is the nicest "cheap" hotel i have ever been to... clean rooms, staff was friendly except for the lazy whip checked us in. She was very curt and cranky, i think she was an owner or boss

Old holidome but best bed in a hotel in a long time! Clean room, safe and quiet. Friendly staff. Great deal!

Definitely will stop again. Room was clean and safe.

This was a fun place, probably great when it is popping. Great rooms and open spaces. But it was almost empty when i was there.
