We booked for 2 nights but loved this superb hotel so much that we stayed an extra night! Fantastic food at breakfast, lunch and dinner with excellent friendly service. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view.

This is a wonderful hotel to which we would love to return. The building and grounds are beautiful. The staff were wonderful and on hand at all times. The choice provided for breakfast was fantastic. The gardens and pool area were immaculate.

The one downside was there was smell coming from the drains into our room. We were told this was because of the age of the premises and its location by the harbour. It was masked for some of our stay but did keep coming back. However, this would not put us off returning.
