"Room comfortable with a Longhorn Steakhouse nearby"

Bridgeport is a town of motels. We selected this one because it was rated highly and yet relatively inexpensive. It also had won a Trip Advisor Choice award the year prior. The desk manager and waitress were very friendly/helpful. In fact we had a pair surprisingly excellent meals at this hotel. We enjoyed a free breakfast (which can be expanded at minimal cost) and an inexpensive dinner (my steak was grilled perfectly). Our dog joined us in our hotel room—$30 for the stay.

The beds are comfy, but the room looked like it had damaged and they just poorly slapped it back together. There was a 2nd AC unit that looked like it was placed last minute that was so loud, it made it hard to sleep. Someone tried to get in my room and when I called the front desk, they said it might’ve been house keeping. When they called me back, she couldn’t tell me definitively if it was or not. Definitely not worth the nightly cost.

The Staff was amazing we booked a trip and needed to stay an extra day. Being that we stayed in the suite room it happened to be booked the day we were looking to extend. Needless to say we had to switch rooms which I thought would be a hassle but they had our next room ready at 9:30 am right across the hall and let us use both room keys to transfer our stuff. Without question will be returning for another stay.
