La Casa de Chamo

The common areas are a great place to relax and discuss in between travel. Chamo and Anita arr just amazing and available to help you prepare your travel or discuss about life in Arequipa. The accomodation was good as well, everything was as expected.

We had an amazing stay with Anita and Chamo ! We arrived after a 17 hour bus ride and were greeted by Anita and Chamo who instantly made us feel like at home. Anita will give you lots of good tips on what to see and eat. On the terrasse you can enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee and share travel tips and stories with the other guests.

The nicest hosts we had during our trip in Peru! We arrived at 6am and they were kind enough to let us check in for the room they had available. Anything we needed they were happy to help! The private room is really nice and clean, there were hot water in the shower and the bed was comfortable.

The location is far from the main Plaza, but for us the comfortable accommodation was worth the distance!

Anita and Chamo were so lovely and helpful and really made this place feel like home

Chamo and Anita are wonderful hosts and they keep a very welcoming place. They clearly enjoy meeting people and make sure everyone is enjoying their stay and are on hand if there are any issues. Most people staying there were couples in their 20s and it had a youth hostel vibe.

The place is not central although it's very easy to walk to the centre and the neighbourhood is safe to walk back after dark. The Internet wasn't very reliable from my room which I needed as I had intended to work from there

Very nice place to stay few days in Arequipa, Chamo and his wife are really nice. The atmosphere is really cosy, better to stay longer than 1 day

A bit far away from the city center (20 min walking)

The hosts were so kind to us! They told us everything about Arequipa and what we can do the whole day. They made us some coffee and tea when we arrived. On the rooftop you have a great view at the mountains. Also they ordered us a taxi and wait if we surely drove away.

It wasn't very clean and the city is 25 minutes away but that was for us totally okay to walk
