Wampler House

The property was very quaint and the owner gave us a tour. The breakfast was high quality gourmet food. The beds were comfortable. I like the snacks and drinks always available.

The Wampler House never disappoints! It’s a little off the beaten path but that’s what we love about it. 2nd time visiting Bloomington for an overnight getaway. Rooms were very clean, great food and new owners are super sweet!! The Dillman Suite is a must! 🥰

Wonderful quick trip to Bloomington to visit my student. I booked this Bed & Breakfast to try a new location. Comfortable bed & very clean. The host could not have been nicer. I enjoyed the snacks & the breakfast was delicious. Will stay again!

Sally is so kind. This is a quiet sweet convenient place. 10 out of 10 in all aspects. We felt we stayed at home or parents’ house. Strongly recommended.

Came to the area to visit some friends in Olitic and found this GEM after going through the typical lists of hotels and crazy pricing for a lousy nights rest and typical " continental breakfast"... We came across the Wampler House and it was absolutely awesome. The entire experience was one we will not forget.. Everything from the arrival , the tour of the home, the room we stayed in.. and the breakfast...wow ! ... and the weather wasn't too bad either... Two thumbs way up !! If you are looking for places to go and just cruise around , look into driving east about 20 min to Nashville. a great little town with arts and crafts, covered bridges and good food.. Lots of fun.. I stumbled upon the Wampler Inn while visiting Indiana University and now will be staying whenever I visit. Very friendly owner, clean and comfortable room with a large bathroom, great beds and a nice breakfast. Decor was much like an Inn but the size felt like a small hotel. The owner couldn't have been more pleasant!

Fantastic place to stay in Bloomington, IN. The history behind this house is very interesting and beautiful. Fairly close to everything. Wonderful hosts. Breakfast was wonderful. Sally is a great cook. She made the most delicious smoothie bowl. We will definitely be back to visit.

From the personal welcome message on the chalkboard at the Front Desk to remembering that one member of our party was vegan (from when we stayed there 4 years ago!), we loved everything about our stay at the Wampler House. We stayed in the Wampler Room which had a very comfortable daybed, a King size bed and a large jetted Jacuzzi tub. Providing complimentary drinks in the downstairs eating area, a lovely continental breakfast each morning, and relaxing rooms for reading all added to the overall charm and ambience of this delightful inn. We would highly recommend staying here for your next visit to Bloomington!!
