Wampler House

Housekeeper was so nice. Beautiful place

The fresh fruit at breakfast was excellent. The only things I didn’t like was no upholstered chair in the room and the bed was a little small for a Queen size.

Our stay at the Wampler was much more comfortable than a hotel, more like being at home. The beds were very comfortable as were the common areas. Our ‘continental’ breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. The fresh cut fruit and muffins were delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

Super nice people, charming house with nice common areas, fresh breakfast. I just wished that the eggs were not hard boiled (I am sure if I asked, Sally would have made soft boiled eggs for me. They were that nice). We were very lucky to be able to stay here.

What a super place! I went on a Monday night and there were no other guests. I stayed in the Wampler room and the little balcony was nice! It was a great place to just get away and relax. Very clean, very friendly lady who showed me around when I got there.

My husband and I stayed here recently when in town for a funeral. Sally and Marc were very helpful and welcoming. The room was comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast. We'd recommend Wampler House to anyone.

What a beautiful B&B!! Cozy and quiet. So so clean!! Obviously loved and cared for. Big front porch with a swing- perfect for warm fall days. But the breakfast was out of this world. Apple pie crepes hand made!! We will be back. Great spot just south of IU Bloomington campus.

Great Location for IU events. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The supplied morning breakfasts were outstanding! We also enjoyed reading and chilling on the porch. We have already recommended the Wampler House to family and friends.

This is THE place to stay if you visit Bloomington! We had a 3 night stay with 10 adults occupying 5 of their 9 rooms. Every room was immaculate! The beds were all comfortable and had the softest sheets I have ever experienced. Sally provided a lovely breakfast on Friday was made complete with home baked blueberry scones and fresh fruit. Saturday and Sunday breakfasts were delicious and served hot to our table! It felt like home and was a pleasure to stay here. Marc, Jessie, and Sally went above and beyond to make our stay a joyful experience.

I was headed to a winery in Bargersville, IN, from St. Louis, so I decided to stay here. Marc was very accommodating (I arrived later in the evening) and was so helpful with any questions I had. The room (Wampler Suite) was so clean, you could eat off the bathroom floor. I was so impressed. The in-room jacuzzi was HUGE. I had a sitting area, fireplace and my own porch. The bed was super comfortable and, in fact, it was the first night I slept through the entire night! The breakfast consisted of a yogurt parfait and an individual egg dish with veggies and meat, along with coffee and/or juice. Very good and service was friendly. I will be coming back here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling through the area.
