Wampler House

Excellent service and a beautiful place with character. They have a huge portico so you can unload in the rain. Our room was great with a comfortable king bed, fireplace, balcony and well appointed bath. They easily accommodated my gluten free diet. Enjoyed working the puzzle in the games room. Jessica greeted us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ve recommended this place to several friends already

Very nice B&B, beautiful home and owners were very welcoming. We booked through Expedia and then charged at hotel as well, but owners refunded us the 2nd hotel charge. Wish there would have been some more gaming options in the reading/game room (like Yatzee or something similiar). Breakfast was amazing. We'll stay here again for sure.

We had an amazing girls weekend getaway at The Wampler House. Owners greeted us upon arrival with all the information we needed. Gave us suggestions for wonderful dinner spots. The breakfast was amazing and very tasty each morning. Our room was very clean with snacks, bottled water and notebook with any needed inforamtion. Very close to downtown Bloomington, IN. We did use Uber without any problems being picked up. The home was so cute with the decorations for the season and period antiques throughout the Bed and Breakfast. Loved the balconey area to sit and have coffee. Can not say enough good things about this home. We are coming back next year. 5 Stars for us

Very nice facility and owners were helpful

The inn is a lovely historic home in a pleasant Bloomington suburb; there is easy access to bucolic walking and bike trails. The inn keeper was very welcoming and aimed to please. The room was comfortable and had a peaceful patio which provided additional respite. The location is not walkable to Bloomington (it is about 4 miles from the city center) or even to any restaurants so you have to drive to find dinner and entertainment. Though there were homemade baked goods included, the breakfast was lacking variety (far too many carbs and not enough proteins). A nice stay overall.

We had a great stay at the Wampler House. Short drive from IU--a nice option to overpriced hotels during move in. Jess & Mark were great hosts. Everything was clean and communication with the hosts was great. Would recommend!

Felt like coming home. Marc and staff were so friendly and welcoming.

The entire staff were friendly and made our staff thoroughly relaxing! Our prepared breakfast was tasty and nutritious!
