Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown

STAY ELSEWHERE! Disgusting & dirty throughout entire place. Hot water issues, rooms not clean, hallways cluttered with trash, staff does not care. This hotel should not be in business; Marriott should be ashamed to have it under their brand. It’s so overpriced everywhere. Restaurant & bar food is terrible.

The reception staff was soooo unprofessional- for a hotel like Sheraton or Mariot you would expected smiling staff - the people on the front desk feels more like a gang members with no smile and didn’t make me feel welcome- on the other hand no one was able to explain the breakfast offer on booking.com they offer no buffet option and no one could explain how to have a breakfast for 20$ Last thing paying 52$ for parking is really adding a lot to my spend - I was just expecting the parking to be included or at least having tenants rate

The a/c unit. The hot air goes straight to the ceiling and the cold air flows directly to the bed. Next time I’ll try moving the vents, if any.

(2/5) Unfortunately, my stay at Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown was very stressful and disappointing. Although the room itself was fine, the billing and payment handling was extremely poor. I was charged the full amount plus a deposit, then charged again by mistake. Despite visiting the front desk multiple times and being told the issue would be handled by accounting, I kept receiving conflicting messages. At one point, I was even asked to pay again and faced room access issues due to internal accounting mistakes, which caused significant stress during my stay. Being a traveler on a fixed budget, this situation was mentally exhausting and unacceptable. While the hotel eventually acknowledged the error and apologized, the damage to my experience was already done. What should have been a comfortable stay turned into an anxious and frustrating one. I expected far better service and communication from a Sheraton / Marriott property.

This hotel is a really good option for a downtown stay in Philadelphia. Shout out to James at the front desk who offered to check me in early upon seeing that I had been caught in a torrential downpour.
