Ikal Hotel Tulum

Literally everything: staff is helpful, flexible, kind and polite, the location is fantastic albeit remote (you can rent bikes for strolling around), great activities like yoga, hearing the sound of ocean waves before sleeping, not to mention the tree house we were in and our private jacuzzi!! I saw negative reviews about the restaurant but I respectfully disagree: the smoothies and beers are great, the portions are large and good, in line with Tulum prices. I like that they provided sustainable and bio shampoo, conditioner and body wash, together with aloe Vera. The bed was also huge and comfortable. The staff was so kind to plan a trip for us to Chichen Itza, which was also great. Honestly 10/10, would recommend to anybody and would love to be back one day

Mosquitoes and bugs - totally outside of the hotel responsibilities, of course. And obviously, as we are inside a park. There’s a free spray for environment and for the body tho :) Also make sure you have the reservation at the entrance of the park after entry hours, because police is not always so kind

We booked one night at IKAL and ended up extending our stay by three more nights. This is not just a hotel, it’s a true jungle experience. Walking barefoot through white sand to your room, surrounded by nature, feels magical. Our plunge room felt like having a huge private forest all to ourselves. Despite the rain and the sargassum season, staying here was one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we would absolutely recommend. Det er en fuldstændigt fremragende hotel. Beliggenheden er supersmuk og værelserne/hytterne er skønne. Det var helt ekstatisk at vågne om morgenen og gå ned til stranden og restauranten. Personalet er superflinke og giver gerne gode råd til at rejse alle mulige andre steder hen.

Restauranten er dyr og udvalget er begrænset. Hvis man kommer fra København skal man være indstillet på at alt er til "Nyhavn-priser". Hele området er dyrt og der er langt til byen. Vi var forberedte på det og var på ingen måde på budgettur, men jeg ville nok ikke tage dertil igen uanset stedets skønhed. Den der konstante fornemmelse af at blive bondefanget er irriterende. Der er andre smukke steder i Mexico hvor tingene er mere i balance

Merci pour l’accueil chaleureux du personnel et pour ce superbe séjour en pleine nature. L’hôtel s’intègre parfaitement à la jungle de Tulum, offrant un cadre authentique et ressourçant. Le service est non seulement rapide, mais également d’une qualité remarquable. L’environnement est animé par de charmants animaux qui s’aventurent discrètement autour des bungalows, créant une atmosphère intime et apaisante. La plage est très agréable et l’emplacement de l’hôtel procure un sentiment de sécurité tout au long du séjour. Si vous souhaitez vous isoler et vous ressourcer après une période de travail intense, c’est l’endroit idéal pour se détendre, que ce soit en famille ou en couple. Je recommande vivement !
