It was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to find and though I stressed about parking, that was taken care of as well.

I don't like Seattle, but had to be there for a meeting. The hotel made it less stressful.

"They Promised the Moon and Over-Delivered"

10.0

We chose Sorrento because we needed a LOT from our hotel for this event, and they did not disappoint! Over the four nights that many of us were in house, they got to know us and our "usual" orders, they met every need (even the unreasonable, last minute ones!), they fed us morning, noons, nights and all afternoon, presented well-crafted cocktails and drinks at all hours of the day, looked the other way when we needed privacy, laughed and talked with us when we needed company, gave us amazing recommendations for other places to eat, drink and sightsee... The rooms were cozy and comfortable, the atmosphere of the place is historic and welcoming, and every single member of the staff made us feel like we were the most important customers ever. Cannot recommend this hotel/restaurant/bar more highly!!! Oh, and the penthouse meeting room/banquet space was fantastic for our mini-college reunion, which will go down in all of our memories as a life highlight!

"Two nice nights."

Beautiful room. Great bed. Great coffee machine. Cool pivoting window in the shower for watching traffic. Helpful staff. Noise from upstairs neighbors. Tiny bathroom shelf space. Lovely old hotel so limited outlets.

"Historic hotel with charm, excellent service and great food"

10.0

Very nice historic hotel conveniently located to Seattle's downtown and hospitals. Staff was pleasant and helpful and the room in good repair and clean. The restaurant is also excellent; a definately improvement over typical hotel fare. Spent two nights here as part of a hospital visit nearby and would recommend this as the choice if you are in the same situation. A couple heads-up comments: 1. This is a historic, 100+ year old building in excellent repair, but it retains much of its original character. So don't expect a plush bath, usb outlets everywhere, a huge elevator, etc. 2. Parking is pricey on site although the valets are attentive and helpful, you may want to look into other options nearby if that's a factor.
