Courteous staff and clean rooms

The employees were courteous and helpful. However, there is a lack of communication amongst the staff. I would be given instructions from a prior shift and when I would follow up like I was told to the new staff had no clue what I was talking and the process would need to start over again. This happened 3 separate times. It quickly showed a pattern. This made things more complicated and stressful on top of dealing an medical situation. Also we had a very hard time communicating with the cleaning staff. They knew no english and would just giggle when asked a question.

Location, location, location! Walkable to Magazine Street with restaurants and shopping. In the nice, quiet Garden district. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare but kept hot and plentiful. Coffee pots were always full and hot.
